about

This collection of songs was written over the last few years after the pandemic pushed me to fall back in love with my acoustic guitar. Most the songs came out as a stream of consciousness, picking through chords on the couch or bed in the morning and evening. Tyrants and Busy Mind are exceptions to this, with the former being written in direct response to the insurrection of January 6th and the latter being a song I started writing in high school.

I played all of the instruments on this album aside from the piano and vibraphone on Obtrusive Moon which were played by Jake Snyder. That song was also recorded on tape at Postal Recording, while the others were brought to life on tape in by basement, and finished digitally.
